Booking

Once your booking is confirmed, we will provide you with a consultation form to assess your suitability for Botox. Your safety and well-being are our top priority, and we will not proceed with any treatment if we believe it may not be in your best interest or could be unsafe for you. Please ensure you book at least one week in advance for Botox, to allow time for the prescription to be filled and ensure you fill out and return any forms sent to you as soon as possible, if they are returned too late, the appointment may have to be rescheduled.

Consultation

During your appointment, we will conduct a comprehensive consultation to explain the treatment in detail and determine the most suitable approach to achieve your desired results. A topical numbing cream can be applied to ensure maximum comfort, and we will allow ample time for it to take effect, however for Botox, this is generally not necessary. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions, and we will not proceed with the treatment until you are completely at ease and have given your full consent.

The Treatment

The Botox process is quick and simple. During the procedure, a skilled practitioner injects small amounts of Botox into targeted areas of your face using a fine needle. The injections work by temporarily relaxing the muscles that cause wrinkles. The treatment typically takes just 10-15 minutes, with minimal discomfort. There’s no downtime, and you can return to your normal activities immediately after. Results usually appear within a few days and last for several months.

Aftercare Instructions

The following aftercare advice is essential to help reduce the risk of treatment complications, to improve your comfort/healing and to help achieve the best possible results from treatment.

Immediately following treatment:

• Do not rub or massage the treated area for 24 hours after the injection.

• Do not lie down or perform any strenuous exercise for at least 4 hours after the injection.

• Avoid exposure to the sun, heat, and extreme cold for at least 24 hours after the injection.

• Avoid consuming alcohol for at least 24 hours after the injection.

General Aftercare Instructions:

• Wait at least 24 hours before applying makeup to the treated area.

• Avoid touching or rubbing the treated area.

• Do not have any other cosmetic procedures in the treated area for at least 2 weeks after the injection.

• It is normal to experience mild swelling, redness, and bruising at the injection site. You may apply a cold compress to the treated area to reduce swelling and discomfort.

• If you experience any pain or discomfort, you may take over-the-counter pain medication as directed
